Statewide Charities

Each year, the KJT Board of Directors names specific charities and asks that societies hold fundraising efforts to support these charities.

PRIEST AND RELIGIOUS RETIREMENT FUND

Our priests and other religious have dedicated their lives in service to the Church and God's people.  The board of directors of KJT has chosen the Priest and Religious Retirement Fund as one of its statewide charity projects in an effort to give back and assist the clergy and religious in their needs that they encounter later in life. 

Funds raised by each society stay in the diocese in which the society is located so any donation will be directly helping your local priests and religious.

SEMINARIAN EDUCATION FUND

It currently costs over $30,000 per year to educate each seminarian.  With this in mind, the KJT board of directors has chosen to have the Seminarian Education Fund as one of its statewide charity fundraisers.  Please consider making donations to this worthy cause as we help to educate our future priests who will celebrate the Sacraments for us and preach the Good News of the Gospels. 

Funds raised by each society stay in the diocese in which the society is located so donations will directly be helping to educate future priests for your diocese.

The Warrior's Refuge

The Warrior’s Refuge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2019 serving veterans through three integrated pillars: Transitional Housing, Counseling, and Education & Employment. Transitional Housing provides a safe, stable place for veterans to regain footing and begin rebuilding their lives. Counseling offers professional case management, mental-health care, and substance-use support to address the challenges that lead to homelessness and promote lasting stability. Education & Employment equip veterans with job training, career development, and placement services that lead to sustainable independence. Together, these pillars create a clear path from crisis to stability—helping veterans reset, heal, and move forward with purpose. Their vision is to become the premier provider of resources for homeless veterans, veterans battling mental health and/or substance abuse, and veterans with employment barriers while expanding our reach to more locations in Texas.
